02/27/2008: Madonna Sets Release Date for Hard Candy

Madonna's next studio album, titled Hard Candy, will be released on April 29. The album represents the last due under a Warner Bros. contract, with a greatest hits set expected to follow. The artist has signed with Live Nation after the completion the Warner Bros. deal.

Though the tracklist has not been officially announced, confirmed tracks are Candy Store and the Justin Timberlake-collaboration Four Minutes to Save the World, which will serve as the album's first single. Timberlake has also been tapped to introduce Madonna at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony on March 10.
