Cyndi Lauper will headline the 2nd True Colors Tour with Rosie O'Donnell and the B-52's. Carson Kressley will play host. Various dates will also be supported by Joan Armatrading, The Cliks, Deborah Cox, Indigo Girls, Nona Hendryx, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Regina Spektor, Wanda Sykes, and Tegan and Sara. As in the prior year, True Colors will raise awareness and funds for the Human Rights Campaign. The first show will be May 31 in Boston, MA and runs through July 5 in Morrison, CO. A special 4th of July show will take place in Salt Lake City, UT.

Lauper has a new album slated for a summer release and the B-52's will be touring behind their first full studio set since 1992. The new album, Funplex, will be released on March 25.

The 2008 tour will reach 24 North American stops including playing Radio City Music Hall on June 3 and a two-night stand June 16-17 in Atlanta, GA. Presale tickets for most shows will be on sale March 10 and general onsale begins March 15 for most shows.

The True Colors Tour has partnered this year with cable channel Logo, CenterLink (LGBT community centers) and Parents, Families, Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) and other organizations. Auction site eBay which will host a tour and music auction fundraiser to raise money for the tour's non-profit partners.
